Hans Peter & Nathalie from Switzerland owned Nathape from new building March 1996 until June 2021. See their beautiful website for all the adventures they experienced with Nathape ​

Was my partner for 9 years and the Admiral onboard from June 2021 until August 2023. Together we prepared Abayomi for the circumnavigation of our life. Regretfully it did not work out between us to continue and Els decided to pursue another path in life. 

Joris is a loyal crewmember and great friend. We sailed many miles together

This kind lady helped Ethan & Me alot in Panama, doing Grocceries and other shopping. Even went out to a festival together. She sailed with us on the Pacific side of Panama from 17-03-25 to 24-03-2025​

Mo'orea ,Tahiti, Tikehao, Rangiroa. Society and Tuamotu French Polynesia from 24-11-25 to 22-12-26. Very kind and adventurous girl on her first tour ever. First flight, First remote country, First diving and First sailin​g experience. May many more firsts come. Thanks for being part of the sailing adventure in French Polynesia. 

All the way from The Netherlands. Boarded in Tahiti Papeete on 06/12/2025, Sailed Tahiti (Society Isl) Takihou, Rangiroa, Raroia ( Tuamotu)  and Nuku Hiva (Marquises). Regretfully had to leave 16/01/2026 early due to circumstances at home and a new job offer. Sailing and diving was all new, needed some time to get use to but in the end started to feel more and more at home . Thanks for your company and help.​

All the way from The Netherlands too. Boarded in Nuku Hiva, Marqueses on 19/01/2026 Sailed Oa Pou (Marqueses), Fakarava, Rangiroa, Tikehao (Tuamotus) and Huahine (Society Isl) 19/03/26. Thanks for your company and help. You were a great crewmember.​

Dado came on board in Rangiroa on 01/03/26 with the intention to stay for a longer period. Maybe even until New Zealand. Regretfully our personal characters did not match. He left in Huahine on 13/03/26​

Bjarne came on board in Raiatea (FP) 01/04/26  He was a great support and good diver. Did a start in learning how to sail. Left in Rarotonga (Cook Islands ) 22/05/26​

Thea came on board in Rarotonga, Cook Islands on 29/05/26. She was a very positive crewmember, helping with maintenance, cooking. Great diver. Happy to swim with the whales. Jumped boats in Neiafu Tonga 28/07/26 when she met a handsom Italian sailer with whom I could not compete :) ​

Cristina joint in Neiafu Tonga 28/07/26 for a month holiday. She was looking forward to join Abayomi already for two years. She was a beautiful, loving and caring friend to me. Regretfully the weather and circumstances did not turn out to be as we both had expected. Once again it showed that joining for one month only is way to short creating rush visits and tight schedules. She had to go back home in ​Lautoka, Fiji 22/08/26.
