This type was passed Amel built between 1988 - 1998. After that, the Super Maramu 2000 (SM2K) was built until 2006, which is exactly the same in terms of hull but more luxurious interior (also different price range)
Together with the SM2K, a total of 476 Super Maramus were built.
Abayomi is a 52' long (=16 meter) polyester sailing vessel, ketch rigged and with a center cockpit. She is specially designed for longer trips and is easy to sail by two people or even solo.
Equipped with a furling genoa, furling mainsail and furling bazzan sail. The genoa and mainsail can be operated electrically, the bazaan manually and all this from the cockpit. Furthermore, the ship is equipped with a generator, air conditioning, water maker and washing machine. The galley is equipped with all conveniences including a refrigerator, oven, gas and electric stove and a separate freezer.
The ship has a front cabin with a two and one person berth. The aft cabin has the same, but with a more spacious layout. Both the front and rear cabin have their own wet cell(toilet and shower room). There is also a single berth in the saloon and a single berth in the passage way to the aft cabin.
All this makes it very comfortable to travel with several people.
Abayomi was baptized in 1996 by the first owners Hans Peter and Nathalie Wehrli with the namesv Nathape and has since been around the world 1.5 times. We are the second owner from June 10, 2021 and hope to make beautiful trips as well!
